Applications

Anaesthesia

Paramagnetic oxygen sensors are used in anaesthesia to provide both fast and accurate measurements within multi-component gas analysers and to offer a non consuming accurate measurement of delivered oxygen concentration. Hummingbird Sensing Technology's paramagnetic sensors have a proven track record of excellent performance, high reliability and long life.

Suitable sensors for this application include the Paracube Sprint, Paracube Micro, Pm1111E and the Pm1116.

Pulmonary Diagnostics and Stress Exercise Testing

Measurement of the fraction of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the expired breath requires very fast response gas sensors. Servomex oxygen and carbon dioxide gas sensors have an excellent reputation for high performance and reliability.

Servomex sensors are used in applications where small size, low weight and robustness are important factors, such as with portable sports fitness testing equipment. Suitable sensors for this application include the Paracube Sprint, Paracube Premus, the Pm1111E, the Zr733 and the Ir3107

Critical Care Ventilation

Advanced ventilators provide accurate measurement and control of the oxygen level in the breathing circuit. The Paracube Micro offers a stable and reliable oxygen measurement in a small device with a very low maintenance burden.
